Gator had an abscess on one of his front feet. Specialty farrier here. Vet here. Then, the other horses had to have their hooves done - so regular farrier here. The well decided to not produce any water on Easter Sunday. Had it fixed.
Coffee maker in the guest house - a goner - now fixed.
The pool = a massive lime green color with the pollen - working on it!
Two air conditioner/heat pumps not working = not a good thing in 80 degree heat. Repairman here today, and tomorrow a.m.
Vet to be here for horses for shots, etc., = 8 a.m. call. A no show.
Had all of the horses ready. The vet had an emergency foal delivery.
Rescheduling.
Threats of tornado's, lightening, etc., - all horses in a stall. Tomorrow?
Poopville.
Hmm, did I leave something out?
I am a bit tired!
But, we had a great new recipe tonight of crabmeat stuffed shrimp by Emeril! AWESOME!!!
Worried a bit about Guinness. He is slow to come in. He is letting the lower horse below him go in first. Not a good sign.
Gator made it through the night in a paddock last eve all by himself!
YEA!
The end note:
Thank goodness it is my parent's visiting, because if all of this went on if I had other company I would be a mess. They are so easy to have here, and I love every second of it!
Thank goodness they are here. they are keeping me sane!
